American Horticultural Society Blogs on Bloom

Bloom Being Applied at River Farm, Alexandria, American Horticultural SocietyBloom is proud to be working with the American Horticultural Society (AHS), a national organization whose vision is to “make America a nation of gardeners, a land of gardens.” The organization is headquartered at River Farm, a historic landmark in Alexandria, Virginia overlooking the Potomac River. “Although the American Horticultural Society’s River Farm produces our own compost from material collected onsite, we are not able to produce enough to fulfill all of our needs.
Bloom is an ideal supplement to our own compost.  Bloom is locally produced, safe to use, easy to spread, and represents a fantastic value for the end user,” said Dan Scott, Associate Director, Horticulture & River Farm.
