Bloom is pleased to announce its full line of products have been approved for the USDA certified biobased product designation. Biobased products are derived from plants and other renewable agricultural, marine, and forestry materials. They generally provide an alternative to conventional petroleum derived products and include a diverse range of offerings such as lubricants, detergents, inks, fertilizers, and bioplastics.
The certification is part of the BioPreferred Program, a USDA-led initiative that aims to facilitate the development and expansion of markets for biobased products, both to reduce our nation’s reliance on petroleum and increase the use of renewable agricultural materials. Learn more.
