Farming is an all-weather, all-season occupation — no snow days! Thanks to Zach Zinn of Viking Farms & Cattle Co. in Newburg, Pa., for sharing this photo of a recent Bloom application.

Viking Farms is a 14-acre cattle farm, which breeds Texas longhorns, where Bloom is being used to grow hay on site.

“We were looking for alternatives to chicken litter, as it comes with so many weed seeds. The price of Bloom was way better too,” explained Zach of their choice of fertilizer.

(Don’t try this at home, Marylanders — unlike Pennsylvania, there is a fertilizer application blackout in place until spring.)
