Did you know that Bloom has a greenhouse at Blue Plains, where thousands of seedlings are grown for and by community growers every year?
In partnership with the garden crew at the DC Department of Parks and Recreation, Bloom will have free seedlings ready to share in the coming weeks. Preference will be given to Bloom customers but a Bloom purchase is not necessary to receive a donation. Reach out to pre-order and we will let everyone know once they are ready to plant. Several varieties of tomatoes, peppers, kale, squash, cucumbers, and flowers will be on offer, among many other goodies for the garden!
