The Bloom team are true believers when it comes to biosolids, so it’s no surprise that Bloom is used at Park View’s Bruce Monroe Community Garden: Our Senior Director April Thompson is one of the garden’s founders and steering committee members.

The garden, situated on DPR’s Bruce Monroe Park grounds, features both privately rented raised beds and numerous spaces where gardeners grow fruits, herbs, flowers and vegetables for the community. The garden also boasts resident pollinators – aka beehives maintained by fellow garden founder and steering committee member Marc Poe, who says “Bloom has made this garden happy” and its crops bountiful.

Longstanding garden member S N Mohammad, who has been gardening nearly 70 years, has also been extremely impressed with Bloom’s performance. Mohammad mentioned Bloom’s quick turnaround for delivery time as another plus.

Visit Bruce Monroe Community Garden any day from 8am to dusk to harvest goodies, with chard, cucumbers, basil, green beans, and more now in season. Reach out to April to learn more or get involved.
