Now in his second year of using Bloom, William Rice of Rock Hall Farm in Newburg, Maryland continues to see healthier crops and higher yields.

William has been farming for over 50 years and currently tills 350 acres of corn, soybeans and wheat. Despite frequent drought conditions this past summer, the veteran farmer’s crops still flourished. “With Bloom I’ve seen healthier crops across the board this season. My corn and soybeans came up quicker with more vigor, and my beans made it through the drought better too,” he told Bloom. “I also like that Bloom’s slow-release nutrients hold better in the soil rather than leaching out like chemical fertilizers.”

William also participates in a USDA program called EQIP (Environmental Quality Incentives Program), which allows him to plant a certain number of acres with sunflowers to help pollinators. “I used nothing but Bloom on the sunflowers, and they were the most beautiful I’ve ever had,” said William.
