It may still be cold outside, but things are heating up in the Bloom greenhouse in preparation for spring. We recently teamed up with Josh Singer, who is the Community Garden specialist at DC Department of Parks and Recreation, and other members of the Bloom greenhouse cooperative to seed thousands of vegetable and flower seedlings, which will be given away to community members, gardens, and other organizations working to grow urban agriculture and food security in the DC area. Stay tuned to our social media and newsletter for more information on the giveaway.
