Since 2018, local nonprofit DC Natives has built hundreds of pollinator gardens throughout the city to create healthier, more beautiful habitats for both DC residents and our vital pollinators. In the last year, DC Natives has started using Bloom, as well as our Blue Plains greenhouse, to expand their mission, especially in the city’s underserved Ward 7 and 8 communities. They estimate that Bloom has helped them install around 50 gardens this year so far!
